Thanks to social pressure so many women, and men, feel compelled to cover up their grey roots as soon as they start to come through.
Celebrity colourist Jack Martin is thankfully working his magic to convince women that it’s beautiful to embrace ageing hair.
On a mission to prove grey is stylish, the talented hairdresser shares before and afters of his client’s hair to prove his point.
The empowering transformations prove ditching the dye is to the way to go.
With 618,000 followers watching and loving his styles, Jack is never short of a client.
Sharing a before and after of one of his clients, he explained the process and the upkeep in the caption.
Jack said: “Make sure to use @k18hair repair mist and mask during coloring service so the hair after will look and feel healthy as you see in the after photo of my gorgeous client.
“Try to use the mask after the lightening session and before toning, and then you either can use the mask after shampooing again or use a moisturizing conditioner since k18 mask is already been used before toning, the choice is yours completely.
“Don’t forget to wait 4 minutes for k18 mist and mask to activate then you proceed with your service.
“How younger and gorgeous my client look?”
His followers couldn’t believe the results and rushed to the comments to gush over his magic.
One commented: “Beautiful work on a beautiful woman! LOVE IT!”
Another said: “Holy gorgeous!!!!!!!!”
“Absolute perfection!,” said one.
One gushed: “She looks stunning…phenomenal work.”

According to Harvard Health: “In humans, most grey hair is not related to stress.
“In fact, hair doesn’t actually ‘turn’ grey at all.
“Once a hair follicle produces hair, the colour is set.
“If a single strand of hair starts out brown (or red or black or blond), it is never going to change its colour (unless you colour your hair).
“Your hair follicles produce less colour as they age, so when hair goes through its natural cycle of dying and being regenerated, it’s more likely to grow in as grey beginning after age 35.
“Genetics can play a role in when this starts.”
