Anyone who has organised a wedding knows just how quickly the expenses rack up and how much your big day can end up costing you.
Due to the sky-high prices of venues, cakes and catering many brides are trying to cut back on what some see as the most important aspect of the day – the dress.
Luckily for them, a bargain wedding dress from ASOS has been blowing customers away with its style and elegance – despite the rock-bottom price.
The Lace Long Sleeve Crop Top Maxi Wedding Dress was the best-selling bridal design on ASOS in 2019, say Hello!
And the beautiful gown certainly meets a lot of the requirements that modern brides demand with its long-sleeved lacy top, a wink of skin at the midriff and classical bridal maxi-length skirt.
At just £120 the dress costs a fraction of what the average boutique wedding dress costs.
In Britain, the average bride will fork out a whopping £1385 for her dress, according to Belle Bridal, making the cheaper ASOS option just one tenth of the price.
The dress may be cheap but it seems to be good quality with a partially lined skirt and section of the body and sheer lace on the sleeves.
The sheer, nearly-bare midriff section emulated the popularity of two piece dresses which are becoming more and more fashionable – but the lace top means the look can be worn by more modest, traditional brides.
ASOS have revealed that the romantic-looking dress was purchased 3,200 times in 2019 which is the equivalent of nine times every day.
The dress is available on the ASOS website in sizes 4-18 in the regular section and also in sizes 16-30 in their Curve section – so curvaceous beauties can also enjoy the popular dress on their wedding day.
